I must admit that I have never seen what the hype was all about over torn, worn looking jeans. Why pay three times what you would pay for a nice pair of jeans on a pair that look older than the oldest pair in your wardrobe?! But if you are looking for a DIY tutorial to create distressed jeans using jeans you already have, here is my easy DIY project for you!
That was until I came across this pair from Next. I instantly fell in love with the cut – just sitting on the ankle and so I made do with the work and torn look. A few months on, I don’t actually mind the rips and tears on the jeans anymore however, they were originally much smaller and over time have grew from little slits to great big holes around my knees. The great thing about these jeans is that you can put anything with them to create a great outfit! But I still love the cut of these jeans! They are ideal for petite girls too, as despite the fact I am a UK size 6, these give you shape rather than giving you a childlike or boyish figure.
