Both sides are illuminated and what is great about this mirror is that it has a dimmer switch so you can choose how bright you want the lighting to be – something many illuminated mirrors do not offer. In addition, it also plugs in at the mains rather than being powered by multiple batteries.

There isn’t all too much to say about this product really, other than that it works extremely well as a standard makeup mirror, as well as an illuminated mirror. I still use the same Boots No7 illuminated mirror on a daily basis now. I haven’t yet had to change the bulb, even though I use it regularly. The lighting where I live now is fantastic and so I don’t always have to use the illuminating feature, but it’s still an excellent makeup mirror and by far the best I’ve ever owned! I love how the mirror rotates 360° so you can position it to where you need when you’re applying your makeup. When applying eye makeup, I like to push the mirror back to gain a more accurate view of my eye area and thus achieve better results.

The mirror retails at around £54 but quite often when Boots has a sale on, the mirror is reduced to about £25. Do be aware that these offers do not last and the mirrors do sell out very quickly. This is such a popular product that has been on shelves for years and so prices rarely come down.
